From current public health research, most people already consume more sodium than needed. Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show that average sodium intake exceeds 3,400 mg per day, well above the general limit of 2,300 mg per day and ideal limit of 1,500 mg per day, as recommended by the American Heart Association. For this majority, high-electrolyte drinks add unnecessary sodium that the body doesn’t need.

Nonetheless, we acknowledge that electrolyte needs can vary based on diet, genetics and other factors. For those following low-sodium diets, with very low processed food intake, or those who sweat levels significantly exceeds 1.2 liters per hour, supplementing beyond our performance electrolyte formulations may be beneficial. We encourage users to consult with a sports dietitian or physician to determine their precise electrolyte needs.

Our ingredients and packaging are sourced through certified international partners and shipped from Massachusetts, USA. Each partner is carefully selected for their quality, safety, and sustainability, and must meet internationally recognized standards such as ISO 22000, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and relevant FDA regulations.

Before production, every material is tested and verified for quality, food safety, and compliance with U.S. import regulations. This ensures that every IMPAC+ product meets global expectations for safety, performance, and environmental responsibility.

We’ve thoroughly evaluated paper-based packaging as a potential alternative for our hydration sticks. While paper is often viewed as a sustainable option, most paper formats designed for food and beverage use are not truly recyclable. As a result, the vast majority of paper pouches and cartons used for powders end up in landfills.

For our current stage, recycled aluminum and plastics provide a more responsible and transparent solution. These materials can be effectively recovered and reprocessed through established recycling systems, maintaining durability and product integrity without misleading “green” claims.
